12 May our sons flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants. May our daughters be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace.
13 May our barns be fillewith crops of every kind. May the flocks in our fields multiply by the thousands, even tens of thousands,
14 and may our oxen be loaded down with produce. May there be no enemy breaking through our walls, no going into captivity, no cries of alarm in our town squares.
Psalm 144:12–14 gives us powerful prayer points to speak over our sons, daughters, homes, and future.
Today, we are praying against infiltration into our homes, our children, our schools, our churches, and our lives. The enemy is subtle, but in this season, his attacks against the family unit have become more aggressive.
We must push back in prayer.
Let us pray:
1. Lord, be my Rock and my defense.
“Blessed be the Lord my Rock…” (Psalm 144:1–2)
Father, You are my Rock, my Fortress, my Shield, and my Tower of safety. Be the defense around my home, my children, my marriage, and everything that concerns me. Let Your hand rest upon this household in Jesus’ name.
2. Let there be no enemy breaking through my walls.
“May there be no enemy breaking through our walls…” (Psalm 144:14b)
Lord, I declare that there will be no enemy breaking through my home, my children, my mind, my marriage, my church, or my atmosphere in Jesus’ name.
3. Lord, repair every crack in my wall.
“You shall be called the Repairer of the Breach…” (Isaiah 58:12)
In any way the enemy gained access through cracks caused by disobedience, negligence, compromise, prayerlessness, or unforgiveness Lord, repair it by Your mercy. Mend every broken wall around my life and family in Jesus’ name.
4. Rescue us from everything weakening our walls.
“Reach down from heaven and rescue me…” (Psalm 144:7)
Father, everything weakening our walls lies of the enemy, fear, sickness, confusion, weariness, compromise, and spiritual distraction, reach down, O Lord, and rescue us by Your mighty hand.
5. Scatter every strategy of the enemy against my household.
“The Lord shall cause thine enemies… to flee before thee seven ways.” (Deuteronomy 28:7)
Every strategy, plan, or pattern the enemy has used to weaken our walls or infiltrate our family line be scattered in Jesus’ name. Let every enemy that rises against us flee in defeat.
6. When the enemy comes like a flood, let Your Spirit raise a standard.
“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.” (Isaiah 59:19)
When the enemy comes like a flood against my home, my children, or my peace, I challenge every evil tide in the Spirit. Let the Spirit of the Lord raise a standard against every flood of darkness in Jesus’ name.
7. Let there be no captivity in my home.
“May there be… no going into captivity…” (Psalm 144:14b)
There will be no captivity in my home in Jesus’ name , no captivity of the mind, no captivity of identity, no captivity of purpose, no captivity of destiny.
8. I break every chain and set every captive free.
“I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.” (Isaiah 49:24–26)
Every form of bondage over my children, my husband, my family, the church, the school, and every system connected to us—I break it in the name of Jesus. I declare freedom, deliverance, and release over every captive.
9. My children will flourish and not be contaminated 8n Jesus name.
“May our sons flourish in their youth like well-nurtured plants.” (Psalm 144:12a)
My children shall flourish in their youth. They will be well-nurtured spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. They will not be contaminated by the spirit of this age. They will grow strong, rooted, fruitful, and whole in Jesus’ name.
10. My daughters are graceful pillars of beauty and strength.
“May our daughters be like graceful pillars, carved to beautify a palace.” (Psalm 144:12b)
My daughters are graceful pillars. They are graced to carry beauty, wisdom, order, meaning, dignity, worth, and authority. They will stand strong in the places God has ordained for them.
11. I surround my children with divine covering and secure walls in Jesus mighty name.
“As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people…” (Psalm 125:2)
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, Lord, surround my children with Your presence and the blood of Jesus. Let their walls be secure. The enemy will not break through their lives. Nations will submit to the purpose and hand of God upon them.
12. There will be no cries of alarm, only joyful testimonies.
“May there be… no cries of alarm in our midst.” (Psalm 144:14b–15)
I declare over my children and household: there will be no cries of alarm, no emergency, no sudden evil, and no bad news. Only joyful testimonies. My children will not bow to worldly systems, wrong friendships, evil influences, or social media idols. The Lord alone will be their God.
13. My children are arrows in the hand of the Mighty One.
“Send forth lightning and scatter the enemy…” (Psalm 144:6)
My children are arrows in the hand of the Mighty One. They will be sharp, strategic, hidden, and effective. The enemy will not understand them, stop them, or prevail over them. They will confuse the enemy and fulfill divine purpose in Jesus’ name.
